01What Is a Moke?

A MOKE is classified as a street-legal golf cart with a retro vehicle-like interior. MOKES reach a top speed of 25 mph and a driving distance of 40 miles with each charge.
Mokes were originally created in England in 1964. The original purpose of these vehicles were for the military, but soon ended and became a beach vehicle. This came to an end in 1993, but has since made a comeback in 2020 as one of the most popular retro beach street-legal vehicle to hit the streets.

The MOKE can be fully charged from empty in about 6-8 hours. Your MOKE comes with a standard 110v plug in charger and extension cord, so you can plug it into any household outlet. Your MOKE comes with a waterproof BIMINI top that can be put on easily, while it wont help in a severe rainstorm, it’ll keep you dry in light conditions. If you plan on keeping the MOKE outside overnight we require you to put the Bimini top on

Newport Peninsula also has numerous shops and restaurants that are worth checking out. When fully charged, the MOKE has an approximate range of 40 miles.

Example: Balboa Pier to Newport Pier 1.9 miles, Newport Pier to The Wedge 3 miles, Balboa Island is .8 miles from each end of the island, Balboa Fun Zone to Lido Marina Village 2.5 miles Mokes cannot be driven on the boardwalk or bike / walking paths
